Microsoft Test Manager Action Recording support for Assertions and Verifications

If you have used Selenium IDE in the past, you may have used the ability to create Assertions and Verifications to be able to validate your recorded Test Cases.

However, while Microsoft Test Manager allows you to create Action Recordings and specify whether or not they have passed or failed, it does not provide the ability to add Assertions or Verifications to the Action Recordings!  Instead, you are forced to convert your Action Recording into a Visual Studio Coded UI test to be able to leverage assertions within your tests.

If you believe that Microsoft Test Manager Action Recordings should support Assertions and Verifications just like Selenium IDE, you should vote for this Microsoft UserVoice item here: http://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio/suggestions/4183981-allow-mtm-to-record-assertions
